How to get to Mont-Saint-Michel
In order to preserve the fragile environment of Mont-Saint-Michel, one of the most visited places in France, access is now via a footbridge.
Park in the car park 2.5 kilometres from the Mont and continue your journey on foot, by shuttle bus or, more original, by horse-drawn carriage! This is a horse-drawn carriage pulled by two draught horses. For pedestrians, there are 3 routes available: the central route, the "Lisière" or the "Berges du Couesnon".
